Combatants: Oliver, Diggle, and Sara vs. Deathstroke

What Happened: With Slade Wilson at large and wreaking havoc on Oliver’s life in Starling City, Team Arrow descend the staircase into the Arrow cave to make a plan of action.

Unfortunately, action is already waiting for them.

Packaged into his Deathstroke armor and powered by rage and Mirakuru, Slade Wilson draws a gun, prompting Oliver to grab Felicity and roll them over the railing to safety while Sara and Diggle race for weapons. Sara takes a massive leap at Slade with a staff, but Slade catches her by the throat and flings her aside. Ignoring Oliver's shouts, Digg empties two clips and then tries to pistol-whip the supervillain, but Slade flings him aside as easily as Sara. Oliver enters the fray to engage Slade in a savage pipe fight. Their blows almost too quick for the camera, Slade eventually overwhelms Oliver and lands him on his back. “Don't forget who taught you how to fight, kid,” says Slade.

Why It Was Great: Between Sara’s leap, Diggle’s bravery, and Oliver’s brutality, Deathstroke never felt more terrifying. Caity Lotz, David Ramsey, and especially Stephen Amell sold the heck out of their stunts, and the entire sequence was worthy of a big screen blockbuster.

Winner: Deathstroke
