Speaking of daddy issues, theres also the long-standing issue of the fact that Oliver Queen has a son somewhere in the world. And surely the show is going to address that at some point. Before Oliver ended up on Lian Yu he was dating Laurel, with whom he cheated on not only with her sister Sara, but also an unnamed woman that he ended up getting pregnant. Although she went through with the birth, Moira Queen gave her $2m to tell Oliver that she had lost the baby, and to move away and start a new life in Central City. In The Flash and Arrows first crossover episode, Flash vs Arrow, we see Oliver bump into the woman in the coffee shop CC Jitters, where they exchange pleasantries and she phones her - and Olivers - child. Although he doesnt know anything about the childs existence, the fact that the show has decided to include the mother in the show, and then bring her back again, leads to some fairly obvious foreshadowing that hes going to come into Olivers life at some point. The Arrow may not have been ready to have a child, but with the suit being put away, could this new Oliver Queen now be ready for some parental responsibility?
