Arrow: 9 Mistakes It Must Avoid In Season 4

6. Don€™t Do A Roy To Thea

If Diggle was cast to the sidelines, then Roy Harper was at times completely forgotten about. It often seemed like the show didn€™t really know what to do with him, outside of showing off some admittedly impressive parkour skills. When he stepped up to the plate to save Oliver, pretended that he was actually the Arrow, and then got to go off and start anew, it was a nice moment for the character. It didn€™t hit quite as hard as it could or should have though, because they hadn€™t done enough with him previously. Thea now has Roy€™s jacket and his place in Team Arrow, as Speedy. We€™re already more invested in the character, because of her close relationship with Oliver, but now the show must establish her outside of that, and as a member of the team in her own right.
