8. Will We Get More Oliver-Less Flashbacks?
Not for the first time on Arrow, the flashbacks decided to eschew Oliver and the island in favour of Diggle and Afghanistan. This was the case back in Season 2's Suicide Squad, an excellent episode, in particular for Diggle, but the difference here is that his brother is there with him. It does a solid job of setting up the relationship between the brothers, and an origin story for how Andy ended up in H.I.V.E., while it also introduced us to Lt. Joynter. Again, it wasn't the best part of the show, but it was nice to see something different aside from the same old cryptic stuff on Lian Yu. It may be that this was a one-off, but given it ended with Andy meeting Baron Reiter, could we have further exploration of that part of the story, meaning less of the Oliver-related stuff?
