Arrow Season 4: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

4. Oliver Queen, Father

Long-standing fans of Arrow have been waiting for more to come of the young pregnant girl who Moira Queen paid off a few years ago, and Season 4 has certainly seen that plot point flesh out significantly. Poor Samantha was given a cheque for $1 million from Moira to vanish from Star(ling) City and get rid of her baby. So, when we glimpsed her with a small child in Central City during an Oliver appearance in an earlier episode of The Flash, alarm bells were starting to ring. Just before Season 4 came to a mid-season close, though, we were given confirmation that Oliver Queen was indeed the father of young William and that Samantha never cashed that mega-bucks cheque. It was slightly creepy confirmation, mind, given how Ollie stole a strand of hair from William€™s hat and got Barry to analyse it€ but yay for fatherhood, right?! Of course, we€™ve seen how Oliver keeping his son a secret played out, with Felicity leaving him. Luckily for the Emerald Archer, Barry conveniently ended up going back in time and caused that error of judgement to be erased. Phew! It€™s just a shame that Ollie is seemingly letting the exact thing play out again now, though.
