Anyone who’s watched any sort of superhero show likely immediately saw red flags when Alex debuted, let alone when he started dating Thea Queen. Clearly Thea has never watched any superhero shows, though…

Considering that she’s been exploited before when it comes to romantic relationships – who can forget the shockingly-bad DJ-cum-League of Assassins member? – you’d think that the youngest of the Queen clan would be a little bit cautious about those she gets close to, even more-so when that person starts working for Ruve Adams, the wife of none other than Damien Darhk.

When Alex is seen chomping on the same persuasive pills that Darhk gives to his goons, the alarm bells start ringing for Thea, but really, we all saw this coming by now, so it was disappointing to see Thea, a character who has come on leaps and bounds this season, not aware to what was going on.
