Arrow Season 4: 8 Things You Need To Know About Green Arrow
4. Green Lantern's His Best Friend
Although ideologically opposed - Green Arrow being liberal, Lantern more conservative - the two bond on their 'hard travelling heroes' roadtrip across America, having regularly teamed up since (specifically Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan versions of the heroes) and becoming best friends. At one point he is forced into killing Jordan, or at least thinking he has, as he's become the murderous Parallax, while another story sees him being brought back to life by the Green Lantern (because, well, comics...). Coast City, home city of Hal Jordan, has been mentioned in the show, as has Ferris Air, and we know that Oliver will be going there in flashbacks. Stephen Amell has spoken of his desire to have Green Lantern appear on the show, which would be a pretty huge deal and surely point to him getting his own series. They could introduce the character either in the past or present, or both, and have that Green Arrow/Lantern relationship, although it may just be very wishful thinking at this point.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
