6. Laurel Lance
Laurel Lance is so often the show's 'problem' character: although she hasn't quite plumbed to the depths of Season 2, when she was one of the most hated characters on TV, she's still a problematic character. Particularly in terms of making her likeable. Following the death of Sara, she had a fairly strong arc, with some emotional graveside scenes that viewers actually cared about, and she came over as a much better character. Unfortunately, a lot of that work was undone at the beginning of this season, as she ignored everyone's advice (really, even Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk warned against it) and brought Sara back to life using the Lazarus Pit, kept her locked up in the basement, and then later turned a gun on her. Since then, she hasn't been particularly unlikeable, but she's had very little to do, just sort of being there in episodes. In that sense, she's probably expendable, but there is still hope that they can really make this character work. Would her death prompt Oliver to vow to kill, and Felicity to tell him to? Maybe. And are the show really ready to do away with one of the biggest characters from the comics? Probably not. Likelihood Of Dying: 5/10
