8. A Bar Full Of Pinot Noir

As Oliver found himself back in the Verdant nightclub, there was one particularly beautiful scene in which Tommy had a brief chat with Laurel Lance. It might have seemed strange without any context, but us fans will know that this was clearly a nod to the loving relationship between the Earth-1 versions of these characters.

However, the pair only shared one line of dialogue, as Tommy told Laurel that she'd be pleased to know that he made sure the bar was stocked with Pinot noir. Again, without context that may have seemed like a rather odd line, but this just so happened to be exactly what Earth-1 Tommy told Earth-1 Laurel in the closing scene of the pilot episode, right before it revealed that the pair were seeing each other.

A very subtle callback indeed.
