Better Call Saul Season 3: 18 Breaking Bad Easter Eggs & References You Must See

7. The Winking Greek

Better Call Saul Don Eladio Hector Salamanca
AMC

This marks Don Eladio's first appearance in the series, another important Breaking Bad figure to return. He first appeared in Season 4 of that show, serving as Gus Fring's nemesis after the pair had previously worked together on the large meth network.

Coming back with Eladio is his necklace, a Greek amulet that wards against the evil eye, which contributes to his nickname The Winking Greek (Eladio is Spanish for Greek). Mike took it from him after he died, and Gus later taunted Hector with it.

An even deeper cut is the bobblehead Hector hands Don Eladio here - that appears in an ice cream truck during Season 2, when Mike robs a cartel van.
