Better Call Saul Season 5 - 5 Things We Can't Wait To See

4. Mike Will Carry Out More Jobs For Gus

Better Call Saul has as much been an origin story for Mike Ehrmantraut as it has for Jimmy, and we've seen a much more conflicted character than we did in Breaking Bad. Mike is an anti-hero, someone coming to terms with the role he played in his son's death and his renewed dedication to his daughter-in-law and granddaughter, while carrying out morally questionable tasks as a 'security consultant' to make sure his family is looked after.

The last time we saw Mike, he was forced to pull the trigger on someone he considered a friend under the orders of Gus Fring, and it seems his work for Gus will only become more difficult going forward, as he will likely be asked to carry out similar jobs to prove his loyalty.

Mike is arguably a less hesitant and more aggressive character by the time we get to Breaking Bad (remember, he's happy to kill Walt without question and beats up Saul without much persuasion), and in Season 5 we'll likely see more of his descent into one of Gus's hitmen.
