1. Nice While It Lasted (S6E16)
In the series finale of BoJack Horseman, every main character got their moment. Not only a last interaction with BoJack and a full stop on their relationship, but closure on their entire arc over the last six seasons.
Todd scrambled to get BoJack away from Princess Carolyn’s wedding and down to the beach to watch the fireworks. When asked why he did it, Todd simply said that BoJack looked overwhelmed and he wanted to help. Even after everything BoJack did and put him through, Todd was still as sweet a soul as ever.
He was also wonderfully insightful. Not many people would scour the lyrics to the Hokey Pokey (or Hokey Cokey for those in the UK), for meaning, but Todd did. In his eyes, what it really was all about wasn't the Hokey Pokey itself, but turning yourself around. BoJack had just been through this, and this was Todd’s way of reassuring the man he used to call his friend.
The best thing about Todd’s part in this episode however, was that he and his mom were still working on their relationship. He finally had a girlfriend he could connect with outside of just being asexual, and he was happy. There wasn’t a lot of happy to go around in the final few seasons of BoJack Horseman, but Todd at least had his fair share.
