BoJack Horseman: 10 Worst Things Mr Peanutbutter Has Ever Done

Proposing to her is much, much worse than cheating on her. Not just because he cheated on her either; relationships can be repaired. Not telling her (after doing it multiple times, too) makes it even more horrible, but there’s a huge difference between chickening out and doubling down.

Mr Peanutbutter is about to finally tell Pickles the truth, but he immediately gets uncomfortable with the thought of confrontation. It’s Captain Peanutbutter all over again. Rather than make up an excuse, delay telling her, or even do it in a more cowardly fashion like literally running away, he instead makes the problem much worse by proposing to her.

He doesn’t love her, likely has no intention of marrying her, but he does it anyway, because it’s much easier in the short term.

It will be interesting next season, with Mr PB still a firm fan favourite and Pickles lacking much of the grit other characters have, how exactly things go.

Mr PB is clearly in the wrong, but will people care? Will Pickles become harder as he realises what PB is really like, or continue to be oblivious? Only time will tell, but he’s due a comeuppance sooner or later.
