BoJack Horseman Season Six: 10 Best Moments
3. Judah Returns
Tied into Princess Carolyn struggling with her even fuller than usual plate, the new season saw the return of one of the most popular characters to have been written out: Diedrich Bader’s Judah.
One of the best naming puns in the show (full name Judah Mannowdog like You Da Man Now, Dawg), Judah seemed to unfairly get the shaft and was at heart a very good person, even if he didn’t always understand emotional cues.
It always felt like he’d been poorly treated by the show, and to an extent by PC too. Having his return come at her hand, essentially to her own deliberate detriment, felt like it was righting a past wrong.
He immediately starts off on top form, running rings around Turtletaub in the negotiations. His eventual victory and promotion to executive under Princess Carolyn feels like a good reward for all he’s done, and as a minor character whose done no major ills, seems a suitably happy ending.
Considering the show tends to pull the rug out from under audiences, it seems like with Judah the show might throw us a bone, even if it destroys everyone else.
