BoJack Horseman Season Six: 10 Best Moments
2. Hollyhock Meets Pete Repeat
The final episode of the half season was a considerable risk, even for BoJack. None of the main cast feature at all, with Hollyhock being the biggest name involved. As well as her, we get Character Actress Margo Martindale, Gina Cazador, Kelsey Jannings and Paige Sinclair's investigation into Sarah Lynn's death. The connecting theme? They're all women BoJack has harmed in some way.
It's a strong enough theme for us to connect the dots, but not so strong that it pounds us over the head with it. Hollyhock is scared about losing control, having been drugged by Bea and seeing BoJack as an addict. Gina struggles with a stunt after being attacked by BoJack, and Kelsey's career is in the toilet after the Nixon museum fiasco. Sarah Lynn, obviously, is dead.
When Hollyhock meets Pete Repeat though, the point of the episode finally comes together. He goes by Peter now, has stopped the repeat gimmick and has grown a beard, so he's a little difficult to place at first. Once he begins his story though, who he is becomes clear.
Hollyhock is going into the final eight episodes discovering BoJack's lowest ebb, and a devastating finale has been set up.
