3. Spooge - The Head Crush
Season two again and shortly before Jane's tragic and vomity demise, we see "Spooge" meet an equally messy end, for very different reasons. In episode six, 'Peekaboo', Jesse is preparing to take his revenge on a junkie couple who robbed his associate, Skinny Pete, of an ounce of meth during a delivery. With Walt's words "take care of it" still ringing in his ears, and with the necessity of maintaining a reputation as a fearless drug dealer to protect, Jesse steels himself up to shoot the junkies dead and receive the product. But, despite holding the two thieves at gun point, and being told that the money he is owed for the meth is inside a stolen ATM machine, it all goes wrong for Jesse when the junkie's kid somehow persuades him to play a game of peekaboo, causing a near-fatal distraction. After being knocked unconscious by the junkies, Jesse awakens to find one of them lying under the ATM, which has been propped up by a chair, as he drills into its base to try and get at the cash. Unfortunately for him, he gets into a domestic with his girlfriend, who promptly shoves the ATM over, crushing the man's head, leading to one very sticky carpet.
