As Seen In: 'Sunset' (Season 3.6) Oh, that Gale Boetticher. He claims that it's mostly down to the magic of those Sumatran beans, and that a lot of the credit really ought to be given to the grind. We say he's just being an overly modest cherub, and that his coffee is the best coffee we've ever had the pleasure of watching somebody else taste. Seriously, the way Walter savours his first few sips of Gale's coffee - and then goes on to return to it throughout Season 4 - makes it look like the most delicious hot beverage since camomile tea with soya milk. What a difference a reduced quinic acid level makes. Yes, it's hideously difficult to assemble, will take up a ridiculous amount of kitchen space, and it's essentially just a glorified siphon coffee maker. But how much more of a don would you feel utilising this contraption every morning, and enjoying a cup of coffee so great that it's sanctioned by a bonafide chemistry genius? Just one cup, and it'll make the rest of your day glide by like a montage (preferably soundtracked by 'Ginza Samba' by Vince Guaraldi and Bola Sete). Prime Endorsement: "That is the best coffee I have ever tasted." - Walter White
