Breaking Bad: Each Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Saul Goodman

Breaking Bad
AMC

Jimmy McGill, lawyer extraordinaire living and working under the alias Saul Goodman, shouldn't have worked in Breaking Bad. A sleazy, amoral and even pathetic lawyer who specialised in getting his criminal clients out of trouble, Saul was a source of comedy within a show that was almost pure drama until his season two debut.

During his tenure on the show, he became a key ally to Walt and Jesse, getting them through their trickier situations. With his flash dress sense, unflappable personality and unassuming appearance, he proved to arguably be the most important member of Walt's empire, able to get into contact with anyone they may need and always proving to have a trick or two up his sleeve for when the bad times came.

With a career-defining performance from Bob Odenkirk, Saul was pretty damn awful a person in places, but nonetheless proved to be one of the show's most endearing players. It's no wonder he got his own spin-off, really.

Aidan Whatman hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
