9. Sophia Perez
Everyone knows that the relationship between Jake and Amy is the truest romantic dynamic in the show. Even when watching for the first time, you knew all of their partners were just hurdles on their way towards getting together, but that doesn't mean they weren't a lot of fun, and Sophia was one of the best.
She was introduced in the second season and seemed like the perfect girl for Jake. They both loved Die Hard, ate spicy food and had amazing chemistry, only to get turned into star-crossed lovers when they realised one is a cop and the other a defence attorney.
The hilarious conflict between the two got you giggling for days, and it only got better after they decided to keep dating and avoid work talk. Sophia was effortlessly entertaining as her quick wit and skills as a lawyer meant she was not only a challenge to Jake but also an enjoyable character in and of herself.
Of course, it's a shame how things worked out between them, but at least it paved the way for Jake & Amy.
