Buffy The Vampire Slayer Cast: Where Are They Now?
8. James Marsters (Spike)
As Spike, James Marsters had the monumental task of being at once the bad guy, the love interest, the hero and the comic relief, but pulled off every aspect of the character during his six season run on the show.
In 2002, he starred alongside Amber Benson in her drama movie Chance, and once he was done with Buffy, he joined its spin-off Angel as a main character. Following the end of Angel, Marsters has mostly stuck to TV work, with recurring roles in Smallville, Without A Trace, Torchwood, Hawaii Five-0 and Marvel's Runaways being his filmography's most prominent projects.
In 2011, he starred alongside Buffy co-star Charisma Carpenter in an episode of Supernatural, and has added voice work to the Ultimate Spider-Man series and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Outside of his acting career, Marsters is an accomplished musician, with two solo albums under his belt and four with his band Ghost of The Robot. Since 2002, he has recorded various audiobooks, with his biggest contribution being to Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. The most recent of these audiobooks was released earlier this year.
As of this writing, he is next set to have a main voice role in the animated series DuckTales, alongside David Tennant and Danny Pudi.
