Buffy The Vampire Slayer Cast: Where Are They Now?

7. David Boreanaz (Angel)

Buffy cast
Mutant Enemy

David Boreanaz left Buffy at the end of season three, where he became the lead in the show's spin-off, Angel. Though he had some guest appearances here and there through the rest of Buffy's run, he mainly kept to his own show until it came to an end in 2004.

Following the end of Angel, Boreanaz slipped easily into an entirely new show, portraying Seeley Booth in the crime series Bones from 2005 to 2017. Bones proved to a wild success, and kept Boreanaz busy for the majority of his post-Buffy career.

He's had a few movie roles here and there, mainly ending up in predictable straight-to-DVD action flicks such as 2013's Officer Down.

When Bones came to an end, Boreanaz proved that TV was where he was meant to be, taking the lead role in the war drama series SEAL Team. On the show, he portrays protagonist Jason Hayes and has even directed a couple of episodes. The show has just recently been renewed for a fourth season.

Outside of his acting career, Boreanaz also runs a nail polish line with his wife and two of their close friends, and can usually be found attending hockey games.
