20 TV Shows That Were Cancelled In 2025

11. FUBAR

Poker Face Cancelled
Netflix

Netflix's Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring spy action-comedy series FUBAR launched in the summer of 2023 and overcame mediocre reviews to spend five weeks in the streamer's top 10 most-watched English-language TV shows.

However, season two was dropped with modest-at-best marketing this past June, which combined with its general failure to improve upon what came before, resulted in decidedly less impressive viewing figures.

Season two premiered to an 80% drop in viewership compared to season one, and lasted a mere three weeks in the top 10 before sliding out completely.

The worst thing you can say about it, really, is that nobody was talking about FUBAR season two when it dropped, emphasising just how little cultural impact the show had - even for the standards of an identikit Netflix action comedy.

And so, few were shocked when FUBAR was cancelled in August, even if it's a shame that one of Arnie's rare forays into the TV realm couldn't go the distance.
