Casting Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Reboot

11. Rom - Stephen Graham

Now, this is a very different choice from Max Grodenchik's Rom - but isn't that half the fun of this reboot? There is the feeling that this Rom may not be such an easy push-over, but he could certainly be a much stronger Grand Nagus!

Stephen Graham has been around for quite a while in Hollywood but he's really emerging in recent years for his roles. He can be brutal when he needs to be, something we haven't seen in Rom's character before - but he is also a tender and loving father, something we most certainly have seen and would love to see again with Rom!

His pairing with Toby Jones and Harry Melling would be a great trifecta - pure British talent taking over the promenade!
