As sassy and enigmatic a character as Prudence Blackwood is, she was undoubtedly one of the first season's most inconsistent - switching sides at the drop of a hat without it ever truly feeling warranted. That, however, eventually led to some wonderful character work and paved the way for a stronger showing in Part 3.

Though her relationship with Ambrose was rather underdeveloped, her goals for the season were clear right from the very beginning - as was the conflict that she faced throughout it. Yes, as she struggled with falling back into her old ways while also learning from mistakes she previously made, it was fulfilling to see how much Prudence had developed over the course of the show.

Even though she'll always be fiery on the surface, this rebel with a cause has come so far - and here's hoping she will continue to grow as the show moves forward.
