Cobra Kai: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

3. Robby Keene

How do you get out of juvenile hall? Practice, man, practice! Karate practice, that is. Robby Keene knows what we're talking about. For now, at least. Although judging from Cobra Kai's season three trailer, he may be looking at some serious hard time for almost killing Miguel.

But let's stick to what we can confirm about Robby from Cobra Kai's first two seasons. Johnny Lawrence's biological son is the show's poster child for self-improvement, moving from chronic hoodlum to law-abiding citizen in just a few short episodes. Good for him.

Through his relationship with newfound father figure and mentor, Daniel LaRusso, Robby throws himself into learning karate and becoming a better person in a way that's remarkable for someone so young. He takes ownership of his past mistakes and, with Daniel's help, even teaches his old thieving buddies a lesson they won't soon forget. Who says internal peace doesn't rock?

We only wish Robby and Johnny could bridge the epic gulf between them, but perhaps that's too much to ask right now. Baby steps, right?

Still, seeing Johnny drop Robby off at school near the end of season two is an uplifting moment. And it's impressive Robby can find space in his heart to even partially forgive his derelict father. You can't teach that stuff. He's a good kid.
