Community Movie - Everything We Know So Far

Now best known for his work with Marvel, Joe Russo, along with his brother Anthony, have directed and produced several episodes of Community.

Recently, in an interview with Collider, Russo was asked about the possibility of a Community movie. He responded,

"We'd certainly be willing to do it...It'd certainly be schedule-depending for us. But I believe that there will be a Community movie, especially now that it's doing so well on streaming. Someone like Netflix could step up and make that movie."

Russo's optimism is inspiring, and given that he and Anthony have now directed the highest grossing film of all time, the pair have far more influence now than when they directed the Community pilot. He mentions his and his brothers' involvement with the project would be schedule-depending, but since they've said their time with Marvel is likely over, they probably have more room in their schedule to direct the Community movie than ever.

And, like Russo said, Netflix seems like the perfect platform for the film...
