Community: The 10 Most Hated Episodes

So here it is. The episode with the dubious honour of having the lowest IMDb score of any Community instalment. And it’s not hard to see why. Remember how the season two episode on this list is here because it descended into fairly standard sitcom fare? Well, this episode decides to go even lower.

The Dean tasks Jeff, Britta, and Annie with wooing Archie, a rich young man, played by one of the most annoying guest stars of all time, who is thinking about enrolling in Greendale and bringing a lot of money in with him. Of course, the guy is a completely unreasonable jerk who makes the group run around doing everything for him and, of course, Jeff eventually snaps and tells him that he’s a deeply unpleasant person.

And just to hit the bog standard sitcom episode hat trick, Archie actually appreciates Jeff being honest with him and enrols at Greendale anyway. This episode is about as engrossing as it sounds, and the entire plot summary honestly sounds like something a sitcom writers’ room would have passed on about thirty years ago.
