Community's 10 Most Emotional Moments

10. Big Cheddar And Tinkletown

YahooYahooJeff Winger didn't have an easy childhood. His father left him and his mother at an early age, he was once confused for a girl dressed as a Native-American princess, and he was bullied out of the one thing that brought him joy; foosball. Likewise, Shirley Bennett didn't have it easy, being a large girl at an age where kids are at their cruelest, and she took out her frustrations on poor fatherless kids that had rat-tails. Little did either of them realise that a few moments of in-the-moment foosball humiliation would define so much of their adult lives. During a competitive match between young Shirley (aka "Big Cheddar") and young Jeff, Shirley happily gave into the evil that the foosball table unleashed and degraded Winger until he leaked fluid from both his eyes and nether regions. Forcing Jeff to pee his pants (while also dubbing him "Tinkletown") forced Shirley to take a long hard look at herself and realise the monster that she was becoming. As for Jeff, he had to change schools and was forced to change everything about himself to escape the embarrassment of being that kid that peed his pants while playing a table game. Jeff and Shirley have it out in typical over-the-top Community fashion, but the real emotional beats come at the end after they had made peace and decided to let go of their pasts. Escaping from the game that brought them so much trouble, we get a glimpse of young Shirley and young Jeff, arm-in-arm, walking toward a new outlook and new appreciation for each other.
