FRIENDS Title The One Where They Play Dungeons and Dragons Quote of the Week
Annie: And my character is... Ew, Hector the Well Endowed... Abed!
Abed: Actually I didn't know you were all going to just grab your characters at random. I designed that one for Troy.
Shirley: Oh I bet you did. Standout Character
Pierce once again proves that he belongs in this show though his completely unforgiving evil mentality. Frustrated with the Study Group's excluding attitude towards him Pierce takes it upon himself to ruin their game of 'Dungeons and Dragons' and, it turns out he is really good at the game. Like Shirley being at her best whenever she breaks out of the 'sweet housewife' act Pierce is at his best when he is a maniacal scheming bastard with some modicum of success to his plans. This episode portrays evil Pierce bullying a manically depressed, morbidly obese boy, taking his prized sword and rubbing it on his balls and I can't quite express how hilarious it is. Why this Episode is so Good An entire episode in which the characters play a game of Dungeons and Dragons is not an entirely thrilling prospect but Community proves again that it doesn't need fast moving plots in order to entertain, just sparkling dialogue. This episode actually has two stories going on, the story in the real world about Fat Neil's depression and Pierce's neglect as well as a highly amusing 'Dungeons and Dragons' narrative. Particular highlights - apart from the unmissable Pierce jealousy story - include Annie's highly unsavory treatment of a village wench... at least she enjoyed it.
