FRIENDS Title The One With the Western Paintball Fight Quote of the Week
Jeff: Everyone look alive. Leonard, good enough. Greendale, it's been a pleasure fighting with you. Some of us won't make it, but there is a place where we will all see each other again, and that place is Denny's.
Leonard: Which Denny's? If it's the one near the 15th exit, I'm banned.
Jeff: Then I'll see you in hell! Outstanding Character
Troy's story in this two parter is excellent. We get to see him begin his journey to becoming the Alpha male of the group, all done through subtle acting choices by Donald Glover and minor run ins with Jeff. One of the great things about the writing on Community is the subtlety with which character developments are put on screen. We're not told what to think, we are shown events and asked to take from them our own conclusions. Troy's development from boy to man is one of the main plot arcs that is done so well. Why this Episode is so Good These episodes combine to form one epic story, a paintball battle in which the entire fate of Greendale Community College is decided. Whilst I did say before that Community doesn't need action to keep the audience entertained it is still a lot of fun to have. When such action is combined with the trademark sparkling dialogue a story of this enormous quality is created. The story is extremely engaging, there's betrayals, twists and turns. Every character gets their moment in the sun from Starburns to the Dean. It is a classic tale that possesses so much re-watch-ability that you'll never grow tired of it.
