Community's Cast - Where Are They Now?

Gillian Jacobs starred as Britta in Community, initially appearing as the second-to-main character and Jeff’s love interest. However, before long the show evolved into a more ensemble cast and did away with sitcom tropes; Jacobs’ character changed the most through his, but retained her popularity with the audience.

She might’ve Britta’d a lot of things on the show, but she certainly hasn’t Britta’d her career.

In the same year Community ended, Jacobs had guest appearances on Adventure Time and Girls. Her guest spot in Girls was particularly noteworthy, as she managed to be one of the few likeable characters on the show.

She’s also teamed up with Dan Harmon to voice a Vindicator on Rick & Morty and with Ken Jeong in Doctor Ken. Without a doubt though, her biggest success has been in the Netflix original Love.

The Judd Apatow show is a realistic sitcom which focuses on the awkward parts of relationships, like a much less cutesy New Girl. Jacobs has been praised for her leading role.

She also appeared as a guest on Dan Harmon’s HarmonQuest, where he plays a fantasy role playing game with guests. Jacobs had absolutely no idea what was going on and became many fans’ favourite appearance ever.
