Crisis On Infinite Earths: 8 Biggest Questions We Have After Parts 1 - 3

4. Can Lex Luthor Be Trusted?

Supergirl Lex Luthor
The CW

If you caught Jon Cryer's guest appearances last season on Supergirl, you'll know just how deliciously villainous he is when portraying the character. That was something he took to the next level during Crisis On Infinite Earths, as the Superman villain was even more repulsive than ever. Announcing his distaste for the Man of Steel on every given occasion and even trying to wipe out every version of him in the multiverse, this was quite literally peak Lex.

With that in mind, you can imagine how shocked viewers were when it was revealed that he had used the Book of Destiny to rewrite reality so that he could replace Kingdom Come Superman as one of the seven Paragons who can save the multiverse. They weren't, however, more shocked than the other heroes who discovered they'll be working with him and perhaps even be forced to, dare we say, trust him.

Can Lex Luthor be trusted to save the multiverse? The answer to that is a complex one. If it serves his interests (which it does), you can rest assured that he'll rise up and become the hero he's already so convinced that he is, but just what evil misdeeds will he pull off in his attempts to do so?
