Damien: 6 Things You Need To Know Before Watching The Omen TV Follow-Up

6(66) facts about the world's creepiest kid.

A&E

Following in the bloody footsteps of Psycho, Rosemary€™s Baby, and The Evil Dead, The Omen became the latest vintage horror movie to get the TV treatment when A&E drama Damien rose from the fiery depths of hell this month.

The show picks up almost three decades after the events of the 1976 film and follows the adult life of Antichrist Damien Thorn, played by Bradley James. He has no memory of his unholy childhood, but that doesn€™t stop the series from cramming in as many flashbacks and references to it as its licensing agreement allows.

Given that Damien is a direct continuation of The Omen, albeit one that takes a few timeline liberties, approaching it without prior knowledge of the movie is the path to eternal damnation - or at least eternal confusion, which is almost as bad.

But do not fear the Beast - with this article on your side, you can delve into A&E€™s new series armed with all the background information you could possibly need.
