"They're called the Hand." So, er, who or what is the Hand? Well, in the simplest - and yet most exciting - terms possible, they're a group of evil mystical ninjas. EVIL. MYSTICAL. NINJAS. They serve a demon known as the Beast, and practice occult magic that, amongst other things, allows them to raise the dead as their servants. So like White Walkers, but ninjas! They look like they're very much tied into Elektra's story, and presumably the reason she is seeking out the help of Matt Murdock. The Hand have one main enemy - and again, it's linked to Matt - in the Chaste. This is a group of martial artists who were formed in order to combat them, led by Matt's mentor, Stick. He's back for Season 2, so there's a good chance we're going to get a Hand v Chaste showdown.
