5. Changing The Future
With our legends having the ability to travel through time, this opens up the possibility that they could actually alter things in the past in order to change their own futures (or is it technically their own present day?), and this notion has already been explored with this new trailer. Rip Hunter can be seen chastising them for changing things too much, and that will likely be a recurring plot point at least for the first few episodes as this team gets used to the whole time travel thing. Just from this new trailer alone, we can see Captain Cold giving some advice to a younger version of himself, The Atom gazes upon what appears to be his dead wife, and whatever Martin Steins done has seen him never get married (which some men out there may see as a massive bonus of this whole time travel concept).
