DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 15 WTF Moments From 'Pilot, Part 1'

6. Splitting The Team

Already causing a division amongst the team, it seemed a little harsh for Rip Hunter to convince these Legends to give up their present lives and to instead risk their behinds travelling through time to stop an immortal, vicious rogue, but it was a massive kick in the teeth to €˜bench€™ some of this new team already. Hunter decides to leave Captain Cold, Heat Wave and White Canary in the Waverider whilst the rest of the team go and explore 1975. As Cold puts it, clearly Rip doesn€™t need anybody maimed, killed or robbed at this particular moment in time, meaning the threesome€™s particular skillset isn€™t required. Surely the best plan of attack would be to set up some sense of unity amongst the team in the early goings, but by leaving Captain Cold, Heat Wave and White Canary, not to mention Jax, out of the action, a line of division has already been penciled in by Rip Hunter.
