Long-time comic book fans will be well aware that Rip Hunter is a bit of a rascal, a bit of a scoundrel, a bit of a loveable rogue, and essentially a little bit like a time-travelling Han Solo. Whilst Arthur Darvill€™s turn as Hunter has been decent so far, it€™s maybe not quite encapsulated the true spirit of the comic book Rip completely just yet. Still, seeing his forbidden love with a fellow Time Master here was totally a comic book Rip Hunter move. Ballsy and confrontational when at work, then instantly melting into his one true€™s arms behind closed doors, that was a great moment to see€ well, until Rip and future-wife Miranda are totally caught with their proverbial pants down and ordered before their superiors.
