6. The Current TARDIS Interior Contains The Names Of Every Companion

When the latest console room for the TARDIS was designed, it was the first one that didn't have an uppy-downy time rotor. Instead, movement in time and space was signified by helicopter blade-like discs, fixed to the roof of the room, that spun around as the TARDIS flew. And these discs were adorned with Circular Gallifreyan. There were rumours about what these symbols actually meant, but one that seemed to gather pace was the idea that every companion had a symbol. It would be lovely for the TARDIS, and the Doctor of course, to have remembered them all, and celebrated them with this decoration, especially for a TARDIS interior designed for an anniversary. Unfortunately though, no one who works on the set can confirm that the designer, Michael Pickwoad, had this in mind. All it would take though is a small mention from the Doctor...
