5. Salvador Dali

You know what I want? More surreal episodes of Doctor Who, a la The Mind Robber or Amy's Choice. Basically, what I want to see is an episode set in the 1920s with Salvador Dali, where the Dream Lord returns. Mind-screwing chaos ensues. Dali is best known for his clock melting paintings, but he also has a significant background in early film. Ideally, I would love if they were somehow able to pay homage to elements of his famous surrealist film, Un Chien Andalou. Experimental episodes don't work all the time, but if they got the perfect writer to come up with a really brilliant idea, this is definitely something that could work as a one-off. Plus, Salvador Dali was such a quirky, interesting character, it would be a shame not to see him interact with the master of weird and quirky. I get the feeling that those two would just immediately understand how each other's mind works. They would meet and be all goofy, and whoever the Doctor's companion is would have to be like, "Do you two need a room or something." Last but not least: that moustache. How can you possibly not want that moustache to be Doctor Who canon?
