Doctor Who Review: Time Heist - 5 Ways The Check Was Cashed (And Bounced)

Timeheist03 The CGI and make-up effects in €œTime Heist€ are quite good. The Teller is beautifully done and integrated well into the episode. The deformation of the head in the beginning of the story was creepy and unexpected. That confrontation was the most powerful scene in the episode. The Teller€™s environment capsule was also lovingly rendered and the shots of the Teller inside of it were stunning. The worm as part of Saibra€™s face was startling, almost shocking, yet believable. We are left to wonder if there was a sale on orange spacesuits as the Teller seems to have somehow acquired one. That€™s OK though. The re-use of props is part of Doctor Who€™s charm. If it were too sleek and sophisticated it would feel superficial and be less relatable.
