These days with the Internet and social media, its hard to keep things secret, especially when a show or movie films on-location. So even though season 8 is still a couple months away, we already know one particular plot point for the first episode. Several people filmed a scene where Clara checks her phone and sees that she has a voicemail...from Eleven! He called her from Trenzalore to tell her not to worry. After she hangs up, Twelve comes out of the TARDIS asking if that was The Doctor on the phone. He tells her that hes still the same person even though he looks different. Studying him, Clara suddenly hugs Twelve. In one of our first glimpses of Twelves personality, he reacts awkwardly to the embrace, his arms sticking out straight and looking uncomfortable. A cameo from Matt Smith seems a bit odd considering his goodbye was emotional, but effective. However, Doctor Who is drawing in new fans every day, and this voice cameo is likely meant to inform new fans and remind people that The Doctor is still the same man regardless of his new appearance and personality.
