4. Wearing Third Doctor Outfit (Mummy On The Orient Express)

Each Doctor tends to have their own fashion sense to add to their unique nature, beyond the obvious distinction of having different faces. The Twelfth Doctor's look has fluctuated slightly, with his style (normally a long collared shirt, waistcoat and jacket) varying across Series 8 (what is with that strange star jumper). This has allowed for story specific looks (all black in Time Heist), as well as some pretty cool easter eggs; in Mummy On The Orient Express his get-up, formal and boasting a black cravat, is distinctly reminiscent of an outfit of the Third Doctor's. This isn't Jon Pertwee's most famous look, worn primarily at the start of his run, making it a reference less obtrusive than wearing Tom Baker's scarf (and all the more fun to discover because of it).
