Doctor Who: 10 Characters Ready For A Spin-Off

8. Alfie Owens

stormageddon In only one episode, Alfie Owens aka Stormageddon managed to capture our hearts and minds. Seeing that the Moff has refused to listen to any of my letters and make a grown-up Alfie the Doctor's next companion, I feel that it's only fair that he get his own show. The Adventures of Alfie Owens. Yeah, it's another example of the Doctor meeting a companion when they're a little kid, but isn't that the sort of thing that Moffat loves? Wibbly wobbly timey wimey and all that? Craig could have told him stories about the Doctor growing up, and then he takes it upon himself to start investigating all the weird occurrences that inevitably seem to happen in London a few times each year. Maybe he's always on the lookout for the elusive Doctor. I know that there was a guy in Nightmare in Silver who sort of looked like James Corden and said that he'd heard about the Cybermen since he was in his cradle. I know that a lot of people think that is the adult version of Alfie Owens. Admittedly, my math skills aren't stellar, but I can't quite make the numbers add up on that one. Regardless, I think the idea of following this character around as an adult is worth exploring. Even if only in head canon.
