9. Lego Doctor Who - The Time of the Doctor

In a fantastically realised recreation of the Eleventh Doctor's final scene from last year's Christmas Special, The Time of the Doctor, the Time Lord and his companion Clara are presented in lavish Lego form as fans are given an insight into what such a crossover would entail. Chief animator BlobVanDam's attention to detail, especially in the movement and mannerisms, is exquisite and the CGI accuracy is next to none. A particular highlight is at 2:01, when the Lego Doctor minifig transforms in the only way a Lego Doctor Who minifig could. Inspired! You can almost feel your heart breaking for the wee little guy... The video received particular praise when it was recognised by the official Doctor Who Facebook and, while Lego is still yet to give the Doctor its official treatment, this, for now, is the next best thing. The possibilities are endless...
