Theyre back, and we have our first really firm, solid connection with the original series. This is the episode that launched The Sarah Jane Adventures and introduced an entirely new generation to her and K-9. It helps that this was a very well-written episode, and that it contained a really great villain. I also really enjoyed the fact that Mickey (Noel Clarke) got to stop being the tin dog and actually do something for a change. His character was very short-changed from the start and this story went some distance to starting to change that.
