Doctor Who: 10 Most Disappointing Concluding Episodes
5. The Two Doctors
On the whole its difficult to be disappointed with the Colin Baker era since your expectations, for this season at least, should be suitably low because one look at the costume tells you what they thought was a good idea at the time. But the Two Doctors had potential since it was a multi-Doctor story featuring one of the most universally loved Doctors, but does nothing that youd want with him. For example, he turns away from his recognisable persona and into a ravenous cannibal instead. But this works simply because Patrick Troughton could play a frog and make it entertaining. But the third episode should have been when the Sixth and Second Doctors team up to defeat the Sontarans. Instead, they come close a couple of times before sharing one minute together when the villains already defeated. It had so much potential but wastes it all away.
