Doctor Who: 10 Most Underwhelming Villains Ever

1. BOSS

(the Biomorphic Operational Systems Supervisor)

Boss BOSS was a supercomputer programmed to think for itself. When he realizes that humans, despite being inefficient, are better at solving unforeseen problems, he reprograms himself to be inefficient, and becomes, like Dalek Caan, more comic relief than threat. BOSS may have been partially responsible for the actual threat of the episode, the giant radioactive larvae that poisoned humans, but the bugs made a bigger impression than the computer did.

Much more could be said, but honestly, what good is a computer that is deliberately trying to be inefficient?

Melanie L. Schmocker hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
