Doctor Who: 10 Reasons Why 3D Is The Wrong Idea

1. Who Asked For This?

Yes, mysterious Matt makes me happy. Shut up. No, let€™s seriously ask this question. Who asked for a 3D special? Fans are just happy the show got this far. Those involved with production are probably just happy to be there. No one got excited at the 3D news. Reaction was, at best, a raised eyebrow as they clicked another link. We€™ve established the lack of money it will make. We established the clear lack of interest there is. This article took a few weeks to write. This decision had to be thought out months in advance by people who have experience in the industry. Did they all come to this decision unanimously? Someone must have considered all these options and realized this wasn€™t a good idea. Or maybe they€™re so blinded by the funds it will get from toys and ratings alone. Maybe they just don€™t care. Moffat, being a longtime fan of the series, really should know better. We can only cross our fingers and hope that this adventure has an amazing enough story to back up a half-baked idea.
