Which brings us to another terrifying moment. Having spotted Lunn, the ghost of Pritchard slithers through the door towards him. It is a pure horror movie moment and thanks to Zaqi Ismail's endearing performance as Lunn, it makes the audience fear for him all the more strongly.

As Pritchard's ghost creeps closer, his face mere inches from Lunn's face, you can feel the entire audience holding their breath, particularly when the ghost grabs the spanner to kill him.  And you can hear the release of breath the moment Pritchard turns and leaves. It is not a moment for kids but it does prove that Doctor Who can be really scary when it wants to be.
