Doctor Who: 10 Things Russell T. Davies NEEDS To Do

2. Classic Who

This is a policy that needs to be continued, as opposed to introduced, and that is the continued exploration of the Classic era of Doctor Who. There are hundreds of episodes of plot to consider, with many, many of them left unresolved.

Carole-Ann Ford seems like the obvious choice to bring back. The Doctor is at a crossroads, with everything they've known having been called into question. The events of the Timeless Child have changed everything they knew about themselves, so who better to help them get to know themselves again than their own granddaughter?

While Ford has appeared in several Big Finish productions, she hasn't appeared in an official capacity since The Five Doctors special. Being the very first companion of the Doctor, she would be excellently poised to help them understand their place in the universe again. With that, any number of classic companions, or even incarnations, could help on this journey as well. There could even be running gags with classic Doctor's being somewhat disgruntled in losing their number in the line. There are also so many different villains that we have yet to see return - let's continue to blend Classic and Modern.
